Sound familiar?
- Your computer has become painfully slow.
- It will not start, or keeps crashing and restarting.
- Your files are stuck on a failed or damaged drive.
Many computers that feel finished only need a solid-state drive, more memory or a clean installation. You will be told whether a repair is worth the money before any work begins. If a replacement is the better choice, you can get help choosing one and moving your files across.

Common questions
Is it worth repairing my old laptop?
It depends on its age, condition and the cost of the fault. You will get an honest recommendation before committing, including when replacement is better value.
Can you recover files from a broken hard drive?
Often, yes. Stop using the drive to avoid further damage. Physically failed drives may need a specialist laboratory, and you will be told if that is the case.
My computer cannot upgrade to Windows 11. What are my options?
Windows 10 reached end of support in October 2025. Options include hardware upgrades, a replacement computer or, in some cases, moving to Linux.
